We're all packed and ready to head north. The U-Haul has a sleeper sofa, loveseat, recliner, ½ of the china cabinet, 3 occasional tables and all the throw pillows for the living room furniture! The top ½ of the china cabinet is in the Escape along with our suitcases. The gas prices are going to kill us!

First destination is western NY state. Then after a few days, we head to eastern Long Island (sans U-Haul, thank goodness). Then after a day or two, we head to northern Virginia.

We will be home in sunny Florida about 10 days from now! While we are away, we are having our back yard regraded. As it is now, the rain flows down towards our patio and that's not a good thing. When we get home, we will have it resodded and perhaps have a fence installed (fingers crossed).

My head is not behaving but I have medication for that. It's bon voyage for hubby and me! We set sail on the asphalt ocean bright and early tomorrow!
